The tree and bushes are just beginning to show their autumn colors, so it’s a great time to take a walk in the woods and follow the progression of change.
“Autumn Leaves” is timely topic of Summit Metro Parks’ next self-guided tour which runs from Tuesday October 12 through Sunday October 17. Head out to Wood Hollow Metro Park and look for the signs along the Downy Loop Trail which will offer information about how and why leaves change colors with the season. This walk is good for credit in Summit Metro Parks’ Fall Hiking Spree.
