The season for the social bike rides known as Slow Roll Cleveland is winding down, and the last two rides take place this week and next.
Each week the ride, which is suitable for all ages and levels of cycling experience, meets and tours a different Cleveland neighborhood at a comfortable pace.
On Monday October 18, rides will meet at Wendy Park/Whiskey Island, now a launching pad for new recreational infrastructure all over the west side. On Monday November 1 riders will meet at Public Square for the Halloween Costume ride and are invited to dress up, despite the fact that the ride was postponed a week due to inclement weather. But don’t forget your helmet — they’re a must for all rides.
The rides are free and open to all. Meet-up starts at 6pm; ride roles out at 7. And since it’s getting dark by 7 these days, make sure you have lights on your bike.
