Akron Screening of “Rocky Horror Picture Show” Features Appearance from Cast Member

Fri 10/22 @ 8PM

It wouldn’t be Halloween without screenings of the 1975 cult musical film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, about the very straight, nerdy couple whose car breaks down on a rainy night near a castle with some very strange occupants.

The E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall in Akron will be hosting such a screening of the original unedited version, complete with a live “shadow cast” (performers who act out highlights from the film) and audience participation — yes, please come in costume because there’s be a costume contest.

But there’s more. Not only will there be a memorabilia display that includes an actual costume from the movie, and the event will be hosted by actor Barry Bostwick, who played the male half of the nerdy couple in the original film. He’ll also be hosting a meet-and-greet for V.I.P. ticket holders with the chance to take photos with him and get items signed.

For both regular and V.I.P. tickets go here.
