The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year with a series of events they call Centennial Soirées.
Its next such event is called Biodiversity: An Array of Taste, and its organizing theme is the importance of species diversity to maintaining a healthy Earth. The museum’s Director of Research and Collections/Curator of Invertebrate Zoology Dr. Gavin Svenson will host the program, which includes a conversation with museum curators Dr. Nicole Gunter and Dr. Andy Jones and Garrett Ormiston of the museum’s Natural Areas Division. It’ll share what the museum is doing to maintain biodiversity and even share what ordinary people can do to participate in the effort.
For the evening, chef Aaron Coon has created a four-course dinner with wine pairing by wine expert Greg Miller. Weather permitting, it will be served outdoors in the Smith Environmental Courtyard. Get tickets here.
