Sixth City Comedy, helmed by CEO/standup comic Marla Eyvette Massie, has been presenting comedy shows, including standup, improv, sketch and musical in Northeast Ohio since 2018.She hones her material and hangs out with other comics at the Lakewood Village Tavern every Wednesday.
Now she’s has bigger aspirations to bring more comedy to Cleveland on a larger scale. She’s put together the inaugural Sixth City Comedy Festival, three days of outdoor comedy are the Sixth City Sailors Club, a casual eatery/hangout at Euclid and East 6th with a spacious patio.
The festival will host more than 50 comics from all over the country for an event that will include a live podcast records, a comedy contest and a late-night talk show segment. It’s 18 and over only.
Tickets are $10 per showcase; a day pass is $35; a weekend pass is $100. Find out more about who’s performing when here.
