Liz Maugans’ latest brainstorm to bring artists and the arts community together called Mouse House Party opened at Connect at 78th Street with an artists preview on August 5 and an opening on August 6. Mouse ears were available for attendees to wear as they took in the work of more than 150 contributing artists who designed a piece of work fitting inside the templates Liz sent out. The call resulted in works of all types as artists explored the topics of the changes the pandemic and a year of quarantine has created in a variety of media — even a video by Cindy Penter (below).
