The Western Reserve Historical Society focuses on its Crawford Auto Aviation Museum component to bring to Cleveland an exhibit devoted to an American icon (despite the fact that they’re now mostly made overseas): the motorcycle.
A Century of the American Motorcycle is a traveling exhibit from Birmingham, Alabama’s Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. It features dozens of restored cycles ranging from 1907 to 2018 — and all of the Barber’s collection are American-made.
You can be one of the first to see the show in Cleveland, when the museum hosts an opening event Thursday August 19, with remarks at 6pm, followed by viewing of the show until 8pm. Tickets are $25, $20 for WRHS members. The show will be on view through March 2022.
