Cuyahoga County Fair Brings Rides, Funnel Cakes & Fireworks Back to Berea

Tue 8/10-Sun 8/15

It’s that time again — a full-on county fair after last years plethora of “4-H only” Ohio county fairs, designed for social distancing and allowing kids who’d worked so hard all year to exhibit their results.

The Cuyahoga County Fair kicks off Tuesday August 8 at its fairgrounds in Berea with everything you love about county fairs: rides, unhealthy but tasty food you shouldn’t eat every day, exhibits of all kinds of farm produce and animals, and diverse entertainment from magic shows to hypnotists to fire shows to country singers. You can learn to hula hoop, cheer on contestants in the Little Miss & Mr. Pageant or join in some square dancing. A lot of the car/truck events — the tractor pull, the demolition derby — are missing this year, but on both Friday & Saturday, the day concludes with fireworks in the Grandstand.

Tickets each day are $8; ride wristbands and tickets are additional.
