The program remains the same: The Orchestra will open with Beethoven’s Coriolan: Concert Overture; followed by 39-year-old Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw’s 2018 Watermark for Piano and Orchestra (a Cleveland Orchestra premiere); and Edward Elgar’s familiar 1898-1899 Enigma Variations. For the Shaw piece, the Orchestra will be joined by American pianist Jonathan Biss, making his Blossom Music Festival debut.
