Once again, Wizardly Weekend is back in Kent, Ohio, so gather up the Harry Potter fans you know and head down to join the magic!
While a couple of events — the 5 ¾ K run and Par for the Curse Miniature Golf — are sold out, there’s still plenty for Potter fans of all ages to enjoy, with wizard-themed decorations in business windows and magic restaurant menu items, plus special activities.
For instance, there’s the Wobbly Wizard Bar Crawl on Friday evening (that’s for adults obviously), while kids enjoy the Owl Show courtesy of the Ohio Bird Sanctuary on the Main Stage in Fred Fuller Park Friday @ 2pm.
On Saturday there’s wand-making and community painting on the Hometown Bank Plaza as well as a “sorcery stone search” to find small painted stones hidden around downtown Kent.
