The Akron Art Museum’s shortened Downtown@Dusk series draws to a close this week with a beloved and venerable group that returns every year: Kent’s Numbers Band, who celebrated their 50th anniversary last year (or rather didn’t, because no one was playing live then). It’s their 37th year playing the event, and aficionados look forward to their unique mix of rock, blues and jazz, driven by founder/front man Robert Kidney’s intense vocals and stage presence.
The concert takes place rain or shine in the museum’s Bud and Susie Rogers Garden. It’s free.
