Lit Cleveland’s Two-Week Inkubator Conference Is Back — and Still Virtual

Sun 7/11-Sun 7/25

Literary Cleveland’s annual Inkubator Conference kept growing and offering more opportunities for writers and readers to learn, grow and interact, until last year, when the pandemic hit and it went all virtual.

Unfortunately, the two-week conference, which formerly brought people together at the downtown branch of the Cleveland Public Library, is still going to be virtual (and still free for anyone to stream).

There’ll be nearly two dozen writing workshops, panels, open mics and other events to sign up for, including a class called “So You Want to Write a Memoir” Monday July 12 and July 19 @ noon-1pm; a panel on “Writing Illness” The Pandemic and Beyond” on Tuesday July 13 @ 7-8:30pm, and a workshop in “Writing Multiple Storylines” author D.M. Pulley on Wednesday July 14 @ 4-5pm.

Noted author Claudia Rankine will deliver a keynote on Saturday July 24 @ 7-8:30pm, and the conference will wrap up on Sunday July 25 @ 7pm with a closing ceremony.
