Sun 7/4 @ 2PM

Maybe your idea of a wonderful July 4 isn’t a crazy barbecue, but a peaceful walk in the woods.

If so, join the Cleveland Museum of Natural History at Mentor Marsh for “Hurrah for Trees.” At this family-friendly, moderately paced walk, a naturalist will share how to ID trees through leaves, bark and growth patterns. The holiday angle will come through looking for red maples, white oaks, and blue beeches.

The program is free but reservations are essential. Call the natural center at 440-257-0777, email rdonaldson@cmnh.orgor message the Mentor Marsh Facebook page.
