Sat 7/3 & Sun 7/4 @ 2PM
The Lantern Theatre is known for its historically or literary-based special occasion performances, which typically take place at the Red Barn Theatre in Valley View.
Like every other theater, they just emerged from a year of nothing, and when they emerge, it’ll be at a new location: the Dunham Tavern Museum in Midtown.
The performance, however, will be typical Lantern Theatre: “A Reading of the Declaration of Independence, Poor Richard’s Almanac & Hits of the 1770s.” Lantern founder Eric Schmiedl has put together a production based on writings and music from the period of the Declaration of Independence, along with some original scenes.
The performance will take place outside in the Gray Garden behind Dunham Tavern, and, they entice, “festive refreshments will be served!”
There’ll be two performances on Saturday July 3 and Sunday July 4. Seating is limited so get your tickets quick. They’re only $15.
