Virtual Program Focuses on Cleveland’s ’70s Music Scene

Thu 4/29 @ 5:30PM

The Caffeine Beats Virtual Concert Series, hosted by MidTown Mixtape, says it was inspired by NPR’s Tiny Desk concert series. It aims to expose younger people to the rich musical history of Cleveland in the 70s and the legendary Leo’s Casino, through virtual performances by local musicians.

On April 29, it will premier the In Search of the Land Project, an album due in June featuring more than 40 artists put together by noted Detroit-based producer Tall Black Guy (Terrel Wallace). The program features performances by Peachcurls, Marry Barrett, Broken Keys and Tall Black Guy himself. The program is hosted by @lolbrielle.
