Once again this year, the traditional Pride in the Cle celebration won’t be happening live in June (Maybe later). But there’ll be a celebration anyway. Just like last year, it’ll be different. And just like last year, it’ll feature a celebration for you to watch at home (a broadcast on WKYC on June 4) and another Pride Ride you can take part in, stating at Edgewater Par and rolling through the Detroit-Shoreway and Edgewater neighborhood (June 5 @ 10am).
Registration is now open for Pride Ride participants, artists and volunteers, with a deadline of May 15. Cars trucks, vans, bikes and other vehicles are invited to take part, decorated as creatively and lavishly as you wish. All participants must pre-register so groups can be organized and assigned to a spot.
