Sat 4/10-Sun 4/11
The Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s Nathan and Fannye Shafran Planetarium has finally reopened to the public, as of the beginning of April. Now visitors can again enjoy its state-of-the-art digital projection system which makes you feel like you are actually out in space.
It will be open Saturdays and Sundays featuring a program called “Dateline: Mars.” It takes visitors on a tour through the night sky to the surface of Mars to learn what the landing of NASA’s Perseverance rover on the planet on February 18, 2021 discovered about the possibility of past life there.
The 20-minute program will have two showings, at 11am and 1:30pm. Because of social distancing, seating will be limited so make a reservation in plenty of time.
