Cleveland Classical Guitar Society’s virtual season continues presents with an online concert by 33-year-old Italian guitarist Emanuele Buono, an up-and-comer on the international classical guitar scene, on Saturday, March 20. It’s his debut concert for the organization.

Buono launched his global concert career with gold medals at the 2008 XIII International Guitar Competition and Festival of Alessandria in Italy and the International Christopher Parkening Competition in California; in the latter he was its youngest winner ever. Since then, he’s added numerous wins at prestigious competitions and performed in legendary concert halls and major festivals in Europe and the U.S.

For the Cleveland concert, he’ll play music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Gerard Drozel, Hans Haug and Franz Schubert. The concert is free. RSVP to get a PDF of the program and an invitation to a pre-concert preview event. Go here for more info and to register.
