North Union Farmers Market’s two big year-round markets emerge from their indoor winter locations this week to relocate to their outdoor spots at Shaker Square and Crocker Park through the end of the year. As usual, you’ll find the variety of food products including product, meats, dairy products, baked goods and items such as honey and syrups, as well as crafts items and artworks.
The traditional sheep shearing will also take place following the blessing of the farms. Sheepshearer Geoff Baldwin will tell stories as he does his work of divesting sheep of their thick winter coats. There’ll be live music and a chef breakfast cooking demo and sampling.
The Shaker Square market is open Saturdays from 8am-noon; the Crocker Park market runs on Saturdays from 9am-1pm.
