While most of the Lakefront Nature Preserve north of MLK Drive is still brown and barren, green signs of life are starting to pop up amidst the dead stalks of last year’s plants. And we’ve got plenty of evening light now to enjoy the constantly changing views of the lake. On our last visit we were lucky enough to see a herd of eight deer crossing our path as well!
