You may not have heard the name “Infinite Twelve” before but the northeast Ohio-based alternative rock duo includes two musicians with deep experience and ties to the local arts community: vocalist/lyricist Guy-Vincent and guitarist Brian Alan Hager. Guy-Vincent is well known for his widely exhibtied visual art work, while Hager has played with such bands as Vanity Crash, the Chromes, the Travis Haddix Band, State of Being and Queue-Up in more than 25 years in the Cleveland music scene.
The duo has now released their second album called The Stone Angel Sessions, recorded on 4-track cassette and available for streaming right now. They describe it as an acoustic-leaning, lo-fi “musical journey about love, loss, and redemption” inspired by artists such as Chris Isaak, Ray LaMontagne and the Doors.
They say that the lo-fi recording process turned out to be time-consuming and not the hasty, knock-off approach one might think: they worked on this album for several years, with both playing a variety of instruments and co-producing
They’ve also released a video of the song “Wild Times.” Guy-Vincent says that “Wild Times” is “a poetic journey about holding onto your dreams and memories during turbulent times. It’s about challenging yourself to keep moving forward, despite facing seemingly daunting obstacles.” Watch the video here.
