Wild Winter Lights at Cleveland Zoo Extended Through January 10

Through Sun 1/10

Wild Winter Lights at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has proven to be so popular that its run has been extended into the dark, dreary days of January when we could all use some lights. Originally scheduled to end January 3, it will now run through January 10.

The display features more than a million lights converging to create individual themed walk-through areas such as Candyland, Enchanted Forest, Conservation Trail and Santa’s Workshop. The experience also includes carousel rides, costumed characters (including Santa, of course), model train displays, ice carvers, live music by choirs including Cleveland’s children’s choir, the Singing Angels, and a light show around a 50-foot tree.

As with the Asian Lantern Festival this summer, visitors have the option to tour the displays on foot or from the safety of their vehicle if they’re concerned about their health. The zoo has instituted additional safety measures, including requiring face coverings for everyone six and older.

Drive-through events take place Tuesdays and Wednesdays; walk-through events are Thursdays through Sundays @6:30-9:30pm, through Sunday January 10. Tickets are $18 for zoo members; $20 for non-members. Drive-through is $54 per car for members; $60 for non-members.
