Mill Stream Run Toboggan Chutes Are Open for the Holidays

Fri 11/27-Sun 3/7/21

You might be asking yourself, “Are those toboggan chutes out at the Cleveland Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation — the longest chutes in Ohio — going to be open this winter, considering the pandemic and all?”

The answer, at least as of this writing, is, happily, yes. The twin chutes, with their 70 foot drop and speeds up to 50 miles per hour, open for the season Friday November 27 and will be open Friday-Sunday through early March, with expanded hours over the Christmas holidays (check the website).

There are some changes. Advance reservations are required, as are face coverings. Capacity will be reduced, and the Chalet’s interior will not be open. Only members of the same household will be able to share a toboggan. Go to the website for any further updates.
