Interfaith Panel Looks at Faith in a Time of Crisis

Tue 9/15 @ 7PM

Religion has become a flashpoint in the national discourse, and a tool used by some cynical politicians to divide us. In response, the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, the Jewish Federation and AJC (American Jewish Committee) Cleveland are presenting a three-part series on issues that are currently affecting the U.S. called “Faith in Times of Crisis.”

The next panel features Imam Ramez Islambouli, professor of Islamic studies and Arabic language at Case Western Reserve University; The Reverend Dr. Marvin McMickle, interim pastor at Antioch Baptist Church Cleveland, returning to a church he served for 25 years this past spring after its previous pastor took a new job; and Rabbi Allison Vann of Suburban Temple-Kol Ami. Dr. Laura Shaw Fink director of contemporary Jewish life at AJC, moderates.
