Glam/pop rocker Marc Bolan of T. Tex died in 1977 just short of his 30th birthday on September 30. But he left a big footprint on the music scene, and his influence is still felt. To celebrate this seminal rocker, the BOP STOP is hosting a streaming program dedicated to Bolan and his contemporaries. It’ll feature British artists such as Bolan, Cat Stevens, the Beatles, Pink Floyd. It will also feature some electronic improvisations by local musician Jeff Reding performing as A.S. (AfterStockhausen).
