Almost none of Cleveland’s big summer events are happening this year. But one is: GardenWalk Cleveland is happening as scheduled.
Luckily, it’s an outdoor event where it’s easy to avoid congested areas. It’s a self-guided tour of area gardens and other outdoor spaces, where individual gardeners show off their home gardens and share some of their tips. It’s a great place to pick up ideas and advice for your own garden!
Just go online and download the map to mark off the gardens you’d like to visit. It’s two day, with gardens in the Slavic Village/Broadway neighborhood, Fairfax and West Park open to the public on Saturday, and gardens in Little Italy, Detroit Shoreway and Old Brooklyn open on Sunday.
It’s free; it takes place rain or shine; and please be respectful and wear a mask.
