Calling all gamers! Cleveland Public Library is inspiring creativity and competition with CPL Play, its gaming and eSports program.
“CPL Play exposes people to everything from new video games to board games. It offers a competitive gaming experience for those who love a challenge,” says Tristan Wheeler, Audiovisual & Event Planning Specialist and organizer of CPL Play at Cleveland Public Library. “Everyone is invited no matter your gaming level or knowledge.”
CPL Play will host monthly weekend gaming, workshops and live-streamed events on Cleveland Public Library’s Twitch.tv channel alternate Saturdays from 2-6pm. (Join them on Saturday July 25; see all dates here). Each event will offer a different gaming experience. The lineup will feature popular games such as Rocket League, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and the King of Fighters XIV. CPL Play will also include an unboxing, tech tutorial and exclusive information about future tournaments.
Competitors are encouraged to register here for CPL Play events. No registration or download is required for spectators and casual fans.
