Waterloo Arts Extends Deadline for Annual Juried Show to May 10

Waterloo Arts is moving ahead with its annual juried exhibit, taking place June 5-July 25. But they’re not holding out hope that they’ll be able to open by them: they’ve decided to make the show a virtual exhibition on those dates, with the dates of a physical exhibition to be announced later.

It’s accepting submissions for the show now, with a deadline extended through May 10. This year’s juror is Arnold Tunstall, director of the university of Akron’s Myers School of Art Gallery. Artists will be notified of acceptance on May 31; it’s unclear how and when pieces will be shipped or delivered to the gallery.
