Retired Trinity Cathedral Dean Speaks About “Purpose” @ Virtual Creative Mornings CLE

Fri 4/17 @ 8:30-10AM

Usually, the monthly Creative Mornings CLE meetings take place at a different location around town, always looking for interesting new venues to introduce participants to, along with its speaker and its free breakfast.

This Friday for the second month in a row, it’ll be happening at a familiar location — your house. And you’ll have to provide your own breakfast and coffee because they haven’t figured out a way yet to send that over the Internet.

Each month, the international organization that coordinates the far-flung network of Creative Mornings events chooses a topic and the local groups find a speaker in their area to address it. This month the topic is “Purpose,” and the speaker is a prominent Clevelander who has found a way to turn her personal challenge into something positive.

The Very Reverend Tracey Lind was the dean at Trinity Cathedral on the Cleveland State campus and a leader for social justice in the larger community. She retired in early 2017 following a diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (ironically she got the diagnosis on Election Day 2016), and sine then, has focused on writing, travel, guest preaching and teaching.
