Garden centers are open across northeast Ohio, and it’s time to stop in with your carefully planned list of what you’re going to plant. You can start putting out those hanging baskets and some spring flowers, planting some lettuce and growing some herbs — all herbs except basil are chill-tolerant. Don’t get the tomato and pepper starters yet though — they don’t go in the ground for another couple of weeks. It’s never too early to window shop though!
We stopped at Cavotta’s Garden Center in Collinwood to look around and see what’s already available (Expect more to come in to your garden center each week). We also had to check out Angela’s two new baby goats, which join the three already in residence. They’re sure to be a big hit with the kids this summer!
