Local R&B/Pop Singer Ngina Fayola Debuts New Single

Singer/songwriter/poet NginaFayola has been around the northeast Ohio music scene for a while without getting the attention she deserves. The soulful singer, who is a native of Guyana but grew up in Cleveland, has been making music locally since the early 2000s, releasing several albums and performing occasionally at venues such as the Grog Shop. She describes herself as “a melodiologist, a rhythm technician, a song aviator.”

She has just released a new single called “The Life, The Love, The Pain, The Rush,” featuring flute player Sukari Reid-Glenn and bassist Sekou Bunch. She wrote, arranged and produced the record with Los Angeles based producer Octavia Landix.
