Like every place else, the Cleveland Museum of Art is closed for the foreseeable future. But it wants people to be thinking about, enjoying and creating art while they’re stuck inside. That’s what it’s “Home Is Where the Art Is” program is about.
Its featured items include its CMA Thinker blog, named after the iconic Rodin statue poised at its southern entrance. Read about topics such as the history of handwashing through the ages.
You can also get suggestions on art activities to keep those bored kids diverted for a little while, access every object in the museum’s collection digitally, and watch a new video series featuring curator conversations on various art-related subjects, such as Monet’s “Water Lilies,” and photographer Ilse Bing.
