Valentine’s Day in Coventry Village Is Fun for Both Lovers and Lovelorn

Fri 2/14

Spend the evening on Coventry Road on Valentine’s Day, where there will be all sorts of special activities going on, love-related and not.

From 6-8pm Mac’s Backs will have a poet-in-house available to write custom poetry for your loved one — or your hated one, it doesn’t matter. And Leatrice Tolles will also be there doing tarot card readings from 6-10pm.

The B-Side Lounge, under the Grog Shop, will be hosting The Friend Zone, an anti-Valentines Day Party with DJ Wes Woods with doors at 7 and music starting at 10. Bring a photo of your ex, hand it to the bartender to shred and he’ll had you a free cocktail. No, you can’t bring photos of ALL your exes and drink free all night — just one! But there’ll be free snacks and party favors.

You’ll also find a Singles Mingle at Panini’s Bar and Grill, live local rock & roll at the Grog Shop, a whiskey tasting at the Whiskey Bar and plenty of places to have dinner and hang out.
