For nearly a decade, local variety/vaudeville performers Jason and Danielle Tilk aka “Pinch and Squeal” have been presenting their Wizbang! Circus Theatre at venues around town, ranging from the Cleveland Museum of Art to Ingenuity Festival, as well as regional venues.
In the past few years, they’ve been doing shows several times a year at Cleveland Public Theatre, with frequent sellouts. If you haven’t checked them out you should, and if you have you should come back, because it’s never the same thing twice. In addition to Pinch and Squeal’s own music-and-humor-based act, each show features a different lineup of circus artists and outrageous and unusual acts. Jugglers? Hula hoopers? Magicians? Human pretzels? You never know!
Their theme for the upcoming pair of CPT shows is “Trip to Coney Island.” The roar of the surf and feel of sand in your toes may be missing, but the funky allure of the legendary seaside resort is sure to be captured. Tickets are $30.
