Bedford Holds Its “Christmas in Bedford Falls” Holiday Celebration

Sat 12/14 @ noon-4PM

By happy accident, the city of Bedford, Ohio has a name similar to the town in the 1946 classic holiday film It’s a Wonderful Life, which took place in Bedford Falls.

Bedford is not a town to pass up such an opportunity so it’s hosting “Christmas in Bedford Falls,” in and around its town square.  Lolly the Trolley will be offering free rides around town with narrators from the Bedford Historical Society pointing of things of interest.

The ton will be bustling with activities including strolling entertainers, a balloon artist, puppet shows, holiday storytelling, a kids craft tent, and Santa and Mrs. Claus. There’ll be shopping opportunities at local boutiques as well as from visiting artisans, hot chocolate and s’mores from the local Boy Scouts. The Girl Scouts will be collecting food and supplies for local animal shelters, and if you feel the need of a pet yourself, Valley Save-A-Pet’s Purr-fect Place will be holding an open house. The Bedford Museum and Dunham House will also be open for tours.

Except for what you end up buying, the day is free.
