Thu 11/21 @ 6PM
This month’s Think & Drink with the Extinct, the monthly adult evening at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, is called Throwback Thursday: Science of the 1970s (unlike the Ohio state legislature, where “Throwback” means going back to the Dark Ages and allowing religious beliefs to substitute for science).
The evening will offer a chance to explore some of the scientific advances the that decade, including the founding of the EPA, a new method of sequencing DNA molecules, and the discovery of “Lucy,” a three-million-year-old fossil of a human ancestor, discovered by CMNH’s Dr. Donald Johanson.
The Butcher and the Brewer, CLE Urban Winery and Western Reserve Distillers will be providing the drinks at the cash bar.
Tickets are $12.
