The Arcadian Wild Plays Acoustic Roots Music at Riverdog Retreat

Sun 11/17 @ 7:30PM

The Arcadian Wild are relative newcomers to the roots/folk scene, just six years old this fall. Revolving around songwriters Isaac Horn, who plays guitar, and mandolinist Lincoln Mick, the group coalesced at Nashville’s Lipscomb University. Their acoustic sound brings some of their formal vocal/choral background to bear on music that draws from today’s progressive bluegrass/folk scene. The core duo has used various other musicians over the years; currently fiddler Paige Park is joining them.

The group released their sophomore album, Finch in the Pantry, this past spring, and they’re now out on the road supporting it. They’ll touch down at Lorain County’s Riverdog Retreat. It’s $17 per person at the door. Lorenzo’s Pizza will be onsite with $9 pies, but as usual, you are welcome to bring your own food as well as whatever you like to drink.
