At 197 years, the self-dubbed Great Geauga County Fair is the oldest in Ohio and one of the largest. It attracts people from all over the region to eat fried foods, ride the rides, pet the horses and pygmy goat, watch young equestrians ride double while one drinks from a water bottle held by the other (yeah, we wouldn’t have believed it either if we hadn’t seen it), see cars crash into each other in the Demolition Derby, and win large stuffed animals and inflatables in games of skill.
