Authors of “Unique Eats and Eateries of Cleveland” Do Book Events in Chagrin Falls & Mentor

Wed 8/28 @ 6-8PM

Thu 8/29 @ 6:30-8PM

Last spring, Cleveland based writers Fran Golden and David Molyneaux published Unique Eats and Eateries of Cleveland, a guide to some of the area’s most interesting food establishments, told through the stories behind them. They range from traditional Cleveland-type foods such as kielbasa found at the West Side Market to newcomers like Take 11 Bowl & Wrap in Tremont, introducing Hawaiian poke bowls to the area.

The book, former Plain Dealer writer Molyneaux told CoolCleveland.com last May, “is a collection of stories about more than 100 restaurants, markets and other food venues that make the city a special place to dine. The point we made was Cleveland is a city that’s starting to get recognition both locally and nationally for its food scene.

The authors will be doing a couple of book events in the area this week. On Wed 8/28 they’ll be at the Fireside Book Shore in downtown Chagrin Falls. On Thu 8/29, they’ll do a similar presentation and book signing at the Mentor Public Library (8215 Mentor Avenue).

Both are free and open to the public.
