In another backwards move by the Ohio State Legislature, House Bill 90 is looking to require that all of Ohio’s public schools teach abstinence-only sex education. This state is already failing to provide youth with a comprehensive and honest education — which is clear from our high rates of sexually transmitted diseases and one of the highest infant mortality rates in the country. Studies have shown time and time again that this approach does not work, and our young people deserve better. 

To combat this terrible initiative, Grass Roots Resistance and Bay Village Nasty Women are hosting Sex Ed Trivia Night 2019: Are you smarter than an Ohio lawmaker?, a benefit for the Ohio Center for Sex Education (OCSE) at Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio. 

Sex Ed Trivia Night 2019 will be a fun and educational night at the Bottlehouse Brewery and Mead Hall in Lakewood on Fri 8/9

at 6:00pm. The event will feature raffle baskets with items donated by local businesses and individuals.
