Two Husband-and-Wife Duos Share the Stage at Oberlin’s Riverdog Barn

Freddy & Francine by Kaitlyn Raitz

Thu 7/18 @ 7:30PM

Freddy & Francine are really Lee Ferris and Bianco Caruso, a Nashville-based husband-and-wife duo with eclectic musical proclivities. They’re a little folk, a little pop, even a little soul. They’ve been through ups and down, taken a hiatus while Ferris toured with Million Dollar Quartet in the role of Carl Perkins and Caruso co-wrote and filmed a TV pilot. But making their own music and taking it to audiences on he road kept calling them back.

They’ll perform for the first time at Oberlin’s Riverdog Barn with a group that is familiar to audiences there: The Sea The Sea (Mira and Chuck Costa), another husband-and-wife duo who will be making their fourth appearance. They’re touring with a new album From the Light, released last year.

It’s $20 at the gate; kids and full-time students are $5. There won’t be a food truck but as always, concertgoers are welcome to bring picnic baskets, coolers and snacks.
