OPUS 216 Concert Supports Asylum Seekers’ Legal Aid

Sun 7/28 @ 3PM

Classical Cleveland musicians OPUS 216 will be playing their strings for Border Justice on Sun 7/28 @ 3pm. To benefit of the Dilley Pro Bono Project, the group hopes to raise $10,000 to support the volunteer lawyers, social workers, translators and law students who work tirelessly to support migrant families.

Their know-your-rights presentations, preparation for “credible fear” interviews, appeals to the Asylum Office, and wide range of other assistance continues to be an asset for the children and parents at the South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley, Texas, serving thousands of families yearly.

Right now, the network of immigrant-allies are responding to the unjust ICE raids. Join OPUS 216 at Lakewood Congregationalist Church and make your donation at the concert or donate beforehand here.
