Building a candidacy is never easy, even when running for a local office. The intricacies are likely to scare anyone outside the political sphere away from running, inhibiting the kind of diverse representation our local government desperately needs.
On Wed 7/17, the Cuyahoga Democratic Party is offering a free workshop for registered Democrats to hear advice from the experts. Whether you’re a seasoned campaigner or just toying with the idea of running, there is information to be learned!
Work through developing a campaign plan, forming a team, constructing a strategy. Learn the ins and outs of fundraising, messaging and communications, field ops, and day-to-day management.
The workshop will run from 6:30-8:30pm and is hosted at the Cuyahoga County Dems headquarters.
