Rocket Day Returns to Women’s Air & Space Museum

One of the International Women’s Air & Space Museum (IWASM)’s most popular events is its annual Rocket Day.

Put on in conjunction with the Great Lakes Science Center and NASA’s Glenn Research Center, it offers kids the chance to learn about rockets and how they got us into space to lean more about our universe. They’re hear about the history of rockets, get to see rockets launched and have to chance to set off film-canister rockets if weather permits. And kids get a goodie bag to take home.

Admission is $1 and registration is required. Space is limited and the last few times the event’s been sold out. So quickly, call 216.623.1111 for more information.
