As part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the last Cuyahoga River fire, which helped accelerate the modern environmental movement, Ethiopian artist Michael Tsegaye came to Cleveland as the Cleveland Print Room’s artist in residence to create his photo installation project Crooked River.
The project features large ground-level and aerial photos of the river, installed on the floor and in hanging displays to replicate the flow of the river. It opened with an artist reception on Fri 6/21 and will be on view through August 3.
