Graffiti HeArt, the nonprofit devoted to promoting street art as a legitimate art form and finding opportunities for the artists, took a giant step forward, opening its own gallery/workspace on the eastern edge of AsiaTown, with a party that included a visit from Los Angeles-based graffiti artist RISK and local artists busily decorating the walls outside the building. Graffiti HeArt founder Stamy Paul said the organization will be announcing a schedule of exhibits, programs and workshops soon to fully utilize the ample space.
