Want to hear a lot of women raising their voices in harmonious song? Get yourself down to the Renaissance Hotel Cleveland where two days of a cappella music will be happening. There’ll be quartet and chorus competitions featuring more than 800 singers from the Great Lakes region, Harmony Region 17 of Sweet Adelines International, including Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania.
The quartet contest, with 17 entrants, starts on Friday @ 4pm. Saturday at noon the chorus competition starts, with another 17 competitors. There’ll also be a Great Lakes Harmony Boutique with products from area vendors and home party consultants.
Two day passes are $65 for the general public; a one-day ticket is $40. Students with valid ID are $10 a day. Contact Cathy Dunlap at cdunlap1969@gmail.com for tickets.
