Rhythms of Latin America Dance Raises Money for Human Rights Education

The Rhythms of Latin America Dance invites NEO partygoers to dance, enjoy performances, and entertain brief lessons of Latin dance styles. The bash celebrates the creativity and resilience of diverse Latin cultures and Cleveland’s connection to Central America and Colombia Sat 5/11 @ 7:30 at Franklin Circle (1688 Fulton Rd, Cleveland).

National Champion of Mexico, Lenin A Guerrero Maldonado of Salcity of Angels Studio in Bedford, and Gideon Lorete, of Mana Polynesia, will provide brief dance workshops and DJ Manny will spin the tunes all evening. All party proceeds benefit local human rights education at the InterReligious Task Force (IRTF), a nonprofit which has been promoting peace, economic justice, human rights and self-determination for the people of Central America, southern Mexico and Colombia for 38 years.
