Kent’s Standing Rock Cultural Arts & Last Exit Books Present Jawbone Open Poetry Readings

The Kent nonprofit Standing Rock Cultural Arts and local bookstore and coffeehouse Last Exit Books are once again collaborating to bring Jawbone Open Poetry Reading, a weekend-long word fest that is celebrating its 31st year in action.

Friday, May 3rd: Open readings at Last Exit Books @8pm

Saturday, May 4th: @ 11am-2pm Poets and Pies at the Standing Rock Cultural Arts Gallery, with master pie maker Jeff Ingram

@2pm, Poetry gathering by the Cuyahoga River, John Brown’s Tannery Park, Stow Street

@8pm, more open readings at Last Exit Books

Sunday, May 5: @2pm, Poetry Potluck, Fred Fuller Park, Pavillion, off Middlebury Road.

Standing Rock Cultural Arts and their partners invite travelers, locals, of all skill levels to share and present their poetic works during this weekend of words.
