Explore What It Means to Be a Good Citizen at Your Voice Matters Cleveland

Sat 4/13 @ 9AM-1PM

On Saturday, April 13, join the growing dialogue surrounding what it means to be a “Good Citizen“ alongside several Cleveland organizations and individuals from across northeast Ohio. Chosen by the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, this free touring event will take place at the Center for Families and Children at 4500 Euclid Avenue, and will seek to start a conversation around defining effective citizenship. This is an opportunity for Clevelanders to contribute to a national discussion, especially as the crucial 2020 election gets closer. This event will examine our individual responsibilities in a democratic society as well as the challenges it presents.

Attendees will be asked to participate in this interactive and discussion-based gathering by sharing experiences, making recommendations, and actively listening to our fellow democratic participants.

Co-hosted by the Cleveland Baptist Association, Facing History and Ourselves, the National Institute for Civil Discourse/Revive Civility Ohio, and University Settlement, this event involves large cooperation and collaboration.

Registration is required for this free event and can be done here.
